What quick work! The third volume from the comic "Ys" is localized in Taiwan and Hong Kong and already on sale! | ||||||
| In order to release the localized version of "Ys" comics,only translation is required. But even then, how quickly they work! How well were the comics received? Well, there are localized versions of OAV "Ys" and "Ys A shrine in the sky" in Korea and Taiwan, the theme-song of "Ys" was also post recorded in Chinese and I felt it was like a Chinese-enka-rock. But the theme-song of "Ys A shrine in the sky" is same as original Japanese song with Chinese captions. I think the latter is better. (The voice of Shoko Minamino is audible). As I expected, the Post recording was a bit poor. (By the way, "Ys A shrine in the sky" is on sale for NT$200.) | |||||||

| The second volume from the comic "Ys" that I've introduced before in this page has already been released (Original Copyright Show Hagoromo, First published in 1989 by KADOKAWA SHOTEN PUBLISHING CO.,LTD. and Media Works). The original script on the manuscript (ex. sound scripts) were translated, so it was quite amusing that there were Chinese marginal notes about it. For example..., I'm sorry that I can't express it very well in English. Anyhow, I guess this is also a good item for people studying Chinese, I think. | |||||||
