  4. Overall orders and default orders
When the number of characters you have increases, it becomes difficult to give each on individual orders. There is a convenient way to issue the same orders to a group of characters.

The way to do this is different only on the "Who" part and the "Where" and "Does what" is the same as giving normal orders.
The only limitation is that only one location can be chosen for the group to go to.

    • Overall Orders (for new units)
Click "Overall orders (for new units)" in "Orders" on the menu bar. "Under orders" means characters that have a attached to them.
You use this command when you have characters that are under "Defend", "Dismantle continuous" orders or have other characters that you don't want to move.

    • Overall Orders (override all)
Click "Overall orders" in "Orders" on the menu bar.
All characters will be issued the same order.

    • Giving orders in a limited area
You can specify an area on the map by holding down the mouse button and dragging the cursor on the map. All characters in the are will be given the same orders.

    • Default Orders
Click "Default order" in "Orders" on the menu bar.
The default order is what your characters do when they first come out of their village (initially this is set to auto). Using this option wisely will allow you to win the game more efficiently.

  5. Ordering the Leader
The only action the leader do is move.
Clicking the leader and then a location will start the leader on it's way.

Leaders that are moving to a location will have a attached to them.

The leader will not move in the auto mode.

The leader cannot "Clear path" or "Build bridge" but will destroy any enemy villages along the way and if it meets up with enemy characters, it will fight them.

    • Move the leader efficiently
If you move your leader to another countries castle, fight that leader and win, the remaining villages, characters, and funds will become yours.
However, the character in the castle may be several times stronger that you so be careful.

    • Return the leader after moving it
The leader will not return to it's castle automatically after getting to it's target location.

If the leader is not in the center of it's castle, your funds will not increase no matter how high you set the tax rate. You will not be build any villages if you have no funds.

You can get the leader to return simply by choosing "Recall leader" in "Orders" on the menu bar.

You can carry out commands either by clicking on the menu bar or selecting from the menu shown when you click on the right mouse button.

    • Return your leader before bridges are dismantled
When you leader leaves it's castle, enemy characters will start to dismantle the bridges in the leader's path. If bridges along the path back to your castle are dismantled and you don't have any funds, your leader will not be able to get back to the castle. If this happens, your only option is to restart the stage from the beginning. Get your leader back to it's castle as soon as you can.

    • Take note of your strength when moving
Moving your character causes it to lose strength. If along the way it meets up with enemy characters or monsters, it will do battle further decreasing it's strength.
